Boxerwallah: Comfy Underwear

WHO

Born in New York City and raised in New Delhi and London, our designer has worked throughout India — from Rajasthan to West Bengal — applying his modern designs to traditional crafts and textiles. Boxerwallah launched its first collection of comfy boxer shorts on June 1st, 2009.

WHAT

The Hindi word “wallah” links a person to a profession – a taxiwallah drives a taxi. As far as we know we’re the only boxerwallahs around!

WHY

Boxerwallah uses bamboo for more than just comfort. Bamboo grows quickly and consumes little water. It isn’t dependent on fertilizers or pesticides and it is harvested in rotation leaving new shoots to regenerate naturally. Please reuse the envelopes your boxers come in – they’re great for traveling (cameras, souvenirs, worn socks – even boxers).

WEAR

A hot wash and dry won’t distress us, or your boxers – but please don’t dry clean, iron or bleach them.
